The emperor's chair

A really short post on my favorite nephew coz there have been complaints on not posting any new pictures of him on my blog.. so here are all the photos that i've taken recently but was lazy to transfer from my phone to the comp.

Happy chinese new year everybody!!

After all the cleaning, dusting, dumping and some really serious sneezing over the dust, the house is finally sparkling clean. The state of the house will probably be the only time in the year it's this neat, this clean... coz after chinese new year and once the exams starts to set in, papers, books, notes will be flying all over the place, like a typhoon had just gone through the room! ahhaaa..

Thought this was interesting so i took it down. It's some fake grass patch picture on the mrt floor

Every year on the first day of chinese new year, my mom's side of the family will drop by for lunch. And there's always so much food to eat. It's really hard not to eat anything at my house. The aroma of the food will be the first thing that greets u when u step in.... oh man.. it's totally too good to resist man!! Imagine a plate of the golden french fries, nuggets, popcorn chicken, seaweed chicken plus the table filled with chinese new year goodies and finally this nice looking bowl of "buddha jump over the wall" YUMS..... YUMS......

Drank so many cups of tea of so many different types during the two days of chinese new year that i felt odd not drinking any after it was over. For two days, tea was the first thing that touches my lips every morning and probably the last thing that touches my lips at night too! Can u imagine how many cups of tea i've drunk?? man... So filled with water in my tummy! ahhaha...

Had to wake up at 8 in the morning on the second day of chinese new year to exercise so that i could continue eating and not feel guilty. But still.. the day went past so fast and i think i ate so much all my 2 hours of tennis was pretty much gone.

that was simply tasty man!! this was filled with so much sharks fin but i couldn't get a clear picture of it due to my phone's lousy quality

And there... it concludes my two day of chinese new year. Haiz.. it went past so fast it didn't even feel like it was chinese new year~ And back i am now chionging my homework coz i was totally lagging behind on it due to all the new year shopping and pre new year/pre projects outing... hahaa.... I'm so far behind on the progress in school i haven't even started wat i call the mugging process yet! oh hoooo.. i'm so screwed man.. Yuls was done with her socio readings and totally freaking me out with her conclusion of the grading system i totally felt that i've just screwed my semester up! man.... i have to get back to my central library mugging period again! And soon!!

A trip to one of the landmarks in Singapore not owned by a Singaporean???

Surprised??? Raffles Hotel wasn't owned by a Singaporean. Then again.. Singaporeans wasn't all that rich then under the colonial period. Singapore didn't really existed then. It was just an island owned by the brits.

The place we went to after failing to get seats in New asia bar.... Long Bar wasn't all that bad too since i've wanted to go there a long time ago. I'll find another time to visit new asia bar and city Space. It has such a wonderful view of singapore's night lights! It was awesome! I'll have to drag da jie's new camera to get some really good photos of that the next time.

The funniest thing that happened that evening was that xin got a little drunk after her 3/4 glass of long island tea.. She started sprouting a little too much nonsense and we spent much of the rest of the night building jokes upon the nonsense. She gets really inquisitive when she's a bit too high.

Don't have the group pictures though.. i wouldn't get it till xin suddenly decides to upload the pictures in her cam to her comp. Which i doubt will be anytime soon.. I'll try to bug her for it though.. i didn't even get to see any of the pictures!

My next drinking venue shall be New Asis bar or City space on the 70th/71th level of swiss O! Which i doubt will be anytime soon... since dad and mom wasn't really happy with me coming home at 4 in the morning... hee hee... I'll have to wait a little longer for them to forget about this before i pull another 4 am. Otherwise.... i think i'll be condemned forever... ahhahaa....

A jog down memory lane

oh my... can u believe it?? i actually went to my primary school friend's 21st birthday party yesterday!!! Huge mega surprise that i can tell you. I've never expected myself to be invited to a primary school friend's 21st birthday party probably coz i haven't seen any of them since ... hmmm.. let's see.... my primary 6 graduation dinner?? hmmm.. yeah.. 8 years... man that feels old!!

We took some pictures but i don't have it with me and i have no idea how i'm going to get it too!! We'll see... hope there's another class gathering soon!! It's fun to see what my primary school friends have become.

Happy birthday Yoong King. Shu yi J^2. Chin Shyan!!

Yoong king didn't change much from my image of him that i dug out from the depths of my memory. Neither did Yu long and kang wei. Ju Ren wasn't there but then again he didn't look that different too.. Yong Meng.. well.. we get to see him on tv so there really isn't much of a difference though.There was this guy called bing shun that i cannot even pick up from my memory! I totally have no recollection of him at all. AT ALL!!! It will require some old photos and old memories for me to pick this guy out from my brain. As of now.... he doesn't even exist in my primary school class!! ahhaa.. i'm that forgetful man!! ahhahaa....

It was fun though.. seeing what my primary school friends had become.

I wonder what my 21st birthday will be like.... studying most probably since it will definitely fall during the study week. But i hope i'll get to have a belated one?? ahhaa.. It's sad not to be able to celebrate my 21st birthday!! It'll be even better if i can celebrate it with xin xin, since her's is just 1 day before mine!! We can commemorate our 10 years of friendship!! Isn't that just damn cool?????

This blog is getting real messy with all my blog post in the wrong chronological order. Coz i've been really lazy with blogging, the torment of sitting still at my table tears through me even now. It's just the thing that i don't wanna be doing during the holidays. Nevertheless, i'm still forced to do it as this is the bidding season for all nus students.

Well... here's the christmas pictures that i've just uploaded!!

Oh... didn't take a picture of all my opened presents.. well. what the hell.... in summary i got one ang bao. 2 necklaces. 1 panthar imprint pouch. 1 nice t-shirt. 1 pack of choco and 1 kola bear stuff toy. I certainly hoped that everyone liked the presents that me, he jia, timmy and titosh bought for them. He jia and me spent loads of time and "leg energy" shopping around just for those presents plus the money we all spent on those presents.. woo... those pocket burning amts of money. I'm still nursing my burnt pocket from the taiwan trip and this christmas just burnt a deeper hole into it!!

Heck.... chinese new year is going to come soon and there will be an unprecedented amt of money that is going to flow into my pocket at only this time of the year. So.. come to me baby!! Let the money flow straight in my pocket... come to mommy!! ahahhaaa...

Oh right before i forget!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

A bad haircut that totally ruined my day!

man.. it's official! i hate my new hairstyle! i look like a butch.. like seriously!
it's so short i don't even have any more hair to comb and play with.
Man this sucks.. when is my hair ever going to grow back.
I wanted to fully enjoy my last week of holidays but with this new hairstyle i'd have to turn myself into a hermit and lock myself at home.
This sucks to the max man! And i'd have to face my friends in school next week with this new hairstyle that i can't even bear myself!
Looking into the mirror is going to be a big no no till my hair grows back.
I'll shoot myself if i'm ever going to allow my hair to be styled this way ever again!
I HATE MY NEW HAIR!!
There's no way i'm going to post pictures of my new hair.. no way man... no freaking darn way!

He jia's birthday

He jia decided that she wants to make her own cake for her birthday. Which i reckon will fail... but well if it really fails there's always the chocolate cake from four leaves to save the day! So she did her research on the ice cream cake that she wants to do and it's not really that cheap.

Which again is expected and again.. me and mommy ended up doing it for her while she uses her eye power to help. And so in goes the biscuit crumbs, butter,and melted ben & jerry's ice-cream. and here's the ending result.

The funniest thing was that we had to eat the cake in cups coz the ice cream was still too soft to stay in shape... but well.. it was not bad since it was just like eating ice-cream with biscuit crumbs? ahhhaa..
